Koffie & Mariokart
Op woensdag 3 juni organiseert het bestuur een koffiemomentje op het kantoor, en dit keer gaan we er een competitief tintje aan geven: we Mariokarten! Van 12.00 tot 14.00 uur staat er verse koffie en thee klaar, en kun je aanschuiven voor een potje op het Equilibrium Kantoor. Geen ervaring nodig, gewoon gezellig binnenlopen en meespelen. Deelname is gratis.

Dagje naar de Efteling
Op woensdag 10 juni 2026 gaat de AC naar de Efteling, en jij kunt mee! We verzamelen om 07:30 bij Praxis Damsterdiep en vertrekken om 08:00. Het vervoer wordt geregeld, dus jij hoeft alleen maar op tijd aanwezig te zijn. Of je nu gaat voor de Baron 1898, het Sprookjesbos of gewoon een gezellige dag met andere leden: het wordt sowieso een dag om niet snel te vergeten. Er zijn maximaal 26 plekken beschikbaar, dus wacht niet te lang!
Deelname kost €24 voor actieve leden en €30 voor niet-actieve leden.

Lezing & Rondleiding Deeltjesversneller
Altijd al willen weten hoe een deeltjesversneller werkt? We organiseren een unieke activiteit waarbij je dat letterlijk van dichtbij kunt ontdekken. Tijdens een lezing leer je hoe de installatie in elkaar zit, wat er op atoomniveau gebeurt en welke bijzondere toepassingen dit mogelijk maakt. Daarna nemen experts je mee voor een rondleiding door het bedrijf. De activiteit is op donderdag 11 juni. We verzamelen om 14:45 op Zernikelaan 25, 9747 AA Groningen, waarna de lezing om 15:00 begint. Deelname is gratis.

Blanco Borrel
De laatste FC borrel van het jaar staat voor de deur, en het is meteen een bijzondere. Op donderdag 11 juni organiseren we de Blanco borrel bij De Brouwerij (Poelestraat 27, Groningen). Trek je witste outfit aan, neem een stift mee en schrijf en teken op elkaar los. De eerste 150 bier, wijn en frisdranken zijn gratis.

Studiemomenten
Tentamens? Het bestuur organiseert op dinsdag 16, woensdag 17 en donderdag 18 juni elk een studiedag van 10:00 tot 16:00. Koffie en thee staan klaar en aanmelden hoeft niet. De locatie verschilt per dag: ZP11/A2.30 op de 16e, ZP11/A2.45 op de 17e en ZP09/D036 op de 18e. Deelname is gratis voor alle leden.

Borrelvloten met Bestuur
Op donderdag 2 juli organiseert het bestuur een borrelvloot door de grachten van Groningen! We verzamelen om 19:15 bij Schuitendiep 1022 en vertrekken stipt om 19:30. Aan boord geniet je van onbeperkt bier, wijn en frisdrank terwijl we door het centrum varen. De tocht duurt tot 21:00. Er zijn maximaal 15 plekken beschikbaar, dus wacht niet te lang. Deelname kost €14 voor leden en €16,50 voor niet-leden.

Gezocht! Begeleiders introductiekamp september 2026.
Lieve leden,
Ook al lijkt het nog ver weg, wij als introductiecommissie zijn hard bezig met het introductiekamp van 2026! Zo zijn wij op zoek naar begeleiders voor de eerstejaars op het kamp.
Lijkt het jou leuk om van 2 t/m 4 september begeleider te zijn van de eerstejaars en ze een hele toffe introperiode te geven? Meld je dan nu aan!
Als begeleider kun je voor de eerstejaars een grote rol spelen in hoe veilig, leuk en leerzaam het kamp voor ze is. Voor de eerstejaars is dit hun eerste indruk van de opleiding en vooral de studievereniging. Als begeleider ben je verantwoordelijk, sociaal, respectvol en vooral erg enthousiast over de nieuwe lichting die komt!
Naast het kamp zijn er twee “knip en plak” dagen waarbij we dingen gaan knutselen voor het thema van kamp, waarbij we ook samen een leuke activiteit gaan doen. Belangrijke informatie volgt wanneer je je opgeeft. Deze zijn op 9 juli en 31 augustus, zet het alvast in je agenda!

On Tuesday the 3rd of June, the board is hosting a coffee moment at the office with a competitive twist: we're playing Mario Kart! Trip to the Efteling
On Wednesday, 10 June 2026, the AC is heading to the Efteling and you're welcome to join! We meet at Praxis Damsterdiep at 07:30 and leave at 08:00. Transport is taken care of, so just make sure you're there on time. Whether you're going for the thrills, the fairy tales, or simply a great day out with fellow members, it's going to be one to remember. There are only 26 spots available, so don't wait too long!

Lecture & Tour Particle Accelerator
Ever wondered how a particle accelerator actually works? We are organising a unique event where you can find out for yourself. A lecture will cover how the installation is built, what happens at the atomic level, and what remarkable applications it enables. After that, experts will take you on a guided tour through the facility. The activity takes place on Thursday 11 June. We will meet at 14:45 at Zernikelaan 25, 9747 AA Groningen, with the lecture starting at 15:00. Participation is free.

Blanco borrel
The last FC borrel of the year is coming up, and it's a good one. On Thursday 11 June, we're hosting the Blanco borrel at De Brouwerij (Poelestraat 27, Groningen). Wear your whitest outfit, bring a marker, and go to town on each other's clothes. The first 150 beers, wines, and soft drinks are free.

Study Sessions
Exams coming up? The board is running study days on Tuesday 16, Wednesday 17, and Thursday 18 June from 10:00 to 16:00. Coffee and tea will be available and no sign-up is needed. The location changes each day: ZP11/A2.30 on the 16th, ZP11/A2.45 on the 17th, and ZP09/D036 on the 18th. Participation is free for all members.

Drinking Cruise with the Board
On Thursday 2 July, the board is taking you out on the water for a borrel boat trip through the canals of Groningen! We meet at 19:15 at Schuitendiep 1022 and depart at 19:30. On board, you can enjoy unlimited beer, wine, and soft drinks as we sail through the city centre. The trip runs until 21:00. Spots are limited to 15, so make sure to sign up soon. The cost is €14 for members and €16.50 for non-members.

Wanted! Supervisors for the September 2026 introduction camp.
Dear members,
Even though it seems far away, we as the introduction committee are working hard on the 2026 introduction camp! For instance, we are looking for supervisors for the first-year students at the camp.
Would you like to be a supervisor for the first-year students from September 2nd to 4th and give them a really cool intro period? Then sign up now!
As a supervisor, you can play a major role in ensuring the camp is safe, fun, and educational for the first-year students. For the first-year students, this is their first impression of the study program and especially the student association. As a supervisor, you are responsible, social, respectful, and above all, very enthusiastic about the new cohort coming up!
In addition to the camp, there are two “cut and paste” days where we will be crafting things for the camp theme, and where we will also do a fun activity together. Important information will follow once you sign up. These are on July 9th and August 31st, so mark them in your calendar!
